PURA VIDA
Pura Vida is Spanish for "pure life," a Costa Rican philosophy that is more than a saying, it's a lifestyle. On their first trip to Costa Rica, Pura Vida founders Griffin and Paul experienced this lifestyle embodied by living life to the fullest and relishing in life's simple treasures. They also met Jorge and Joaquin, two local bracelet artisans that lived in poverty in a single room with their family. But they embodied Pura Vida to its fullest and a partnership was formed. Today, Jorge, Joaquin, and over 100 of their amigos earn a livable wage, a stable income, and make wares that embody Costa Rican life and are worn by millions.
